    Algorithm for Computing the Kummer Function

    The Kummer function is a solution of the following differential equation.

    x d 2 w d x 2 + ( b x ) d w d x a w = 0

    The function is defined according to the following intervals for the input values.

    a , b \ ( { 0 , 1 , 2 , ... } , { x } )

    This node supports the entire domain of this function that produces real-valued results. For any real value of a and any real value of b except non-positive integers, the function is defined for all real values of x.
