Deletes the file or directory at the specified path.

The absolute path to the file or folder you want to delete.

If you do not wire a value to path, this node displays a dialog box from which you can select a file or folder. If you specify an empty or relative path, this node returns an error.

A Boolean value that determines whether this node deletes all the content in the folder.

True This node deletes all files and folders within the specified path.
False This node does not delete all files and folders within the specified path.

A Boolean value that determines whether the function displays a dialog box that asks you to confirm the delete operation.

True A dialog box asking you to confirm the delete operation appears.
False A dialog box asking you to confirm the delete operation does not appear.

The path to the deleted file or folder.

This output returns <Not a Path> if an error occurred.

A Boolean value that indicates whether the user cancelled the dialog box that appears if no input file was wired to this node.

True The dialog box was cancelled.
False The dialog box was not cancelled, or the dialog box did not appear.
