MT Format Trellis Diagram (G Dataflow)

Receives a complex-valued waveform, divides it into segments of (trellis length / symbol rate), and displays those segments as a trellis diagram on a standard waveform graph.

Tip  

For a "clean" diagram with distinct, nonshifting transitions, the input waveform must have an integer-valued symbol-rate-to-sample-rate ratio.

Modulated data for plotting on a trellis diagram.

Trigger (start) time of the Y array.

Default: 0.0

Time interval between data points in the Y array.

Default: 1.0

Y

The complex-valued signal-only baseband modulated waveform. The real and imaginary parts of this complex data array correspond to the in-phase (I) and quadrature-phase (Q) data, respectively.

The desired symbol rate, in hertz (Hz).

Default: 1.0

trellis length

Number of symbol periods on the horizontal scale of the trellis diagram.

Default: 2

modulation index

Modulation index of the input waveform. The default is appropriate for MSK modulation.

Default: 0.5

error in

Error conditions that occur before this node runs. The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

Default: no error

trellis diagram

An array of waveform segments for trellis diagram display. Each segment has a time length of (trellis length × symbol period) seconds. Wire this parameter directly to a waveform graph.

Time of first value in the phase array.

Default: 1.0

Unwrapped phase of the input waveform.
