reallog

Version:
    Last Modified: January 9, 2017

    Computes the natural logarithm of the input elements.

    Syntax

    c = reallog(a)

    Inputs

    a

    Elements whose natural logarithm you want to compute. a is a scalar or an array of any dimension. The elements of a must be non-negative floating-point numbers.

    Outputs

    c

    Natural logarithm of the elements in a. c returns -Inf for all elements of a equal to zero. c is an array of the same size as a.

    Differences to Log Function

    reallog is equivalent to log for positive real numbers but generates an error for negative real numbers.

    A = [0.01:1:10]
    C = reallog(A)
