# is_equal

Version:

Determines whether two or more arrays contain the same numerical content. The data types do not have to be the same. is_equal does not require values of NaN to be equal to each other. You can specify an unlimited number of inputs. All inputs must have the same size.

## Syntax

c = is_equal(a, b, ...)
Legacy name: isequal

## a

First scalar or array of any dimension.

## b

Second scalar or array of any dimension.

## ...

Further arrays.

## c

1 (True) if a and b contain the same numerical content. Otherwise, this function returns 0 (False). c is a Boolean.

A = [1, 2, 3; nan, inf, 4];
B = A;
C = is_equal(A, B)
