bitnot

Version:
    Last Modified: January 9, 2017

    Computes the bitwise complement of the input elements. For example, if a = 9 (1001), bitnot(a,8)= 246 (11110110).

    Syntax

    c = bitnot(a)
    c = bitnot(a, b)
    Legacy name: bitcmp

    Inputs

    a

    Scalar or array of any dimension of integers. If you use c = bitnot(a), a is of type uint64. If you use c = bitnot(a, b), a is of type b.

    b

    Assumed data type of a. b is a string.

    Name Description
    'uint64'

    uint64

    'uint32'

    uint32

    'uint16'

    uint16

    'uint8'

    uint8

    'int64'

    int64

    'int32'

    int32

    'int16'

    int16

    'int8'

    int8

    Outputs

    c

    Bitwise complement of a. c is an array of the same size as a.

    A = [134, 45, 232];
    C = bitnot(A, 8)
