accumsums

    Computes the cumulative sums of inputs along the specific dimension.

    Syntax

    c = accumsums(a)
    c = accumsums(a, b)
    Legacy name: cumsum

    Inputs

    a

    Scalar or array of any dimension of numeric values.

    b

    Dimension along which to compute the cumulative sums. b can be in a range of 1 to the maximum supported array dimension (32). If you do not assign a value to b, MathScript uses the first dimension whose size is not equal to 1.

    Outputs

    c

    Cumulative sums of a. c is an array of the same size as a. If a is an array and you do not specify b, c returns an array whose elements are cumulative sums of a along the first non-singleton dimension.

    A = [1,2;3,4]
    C = accumsums(A)
