Values of the -exclude Argument in the LabVIEW Compare Tool

    When you configure a source control provider to use the LabVIEW Compare Tool, you can use the -exclude argument to prevent the tool from displaying certain types of comparison differences. The following list shows the values of the -exclude argument you can use in the LabVIEW Compare Tool.

    • Panel—Does not detect all the differences on the panel.
      • Panel.Functional—Does not detect the added, deleted, and modified objects on the panel.
        • Panel.Functional.AddedDeleted—Does not detect the added and deleted objects on the panel.
        • Panel.Functional.Modified—Does not detect the modified objects on the panel.
      • Panel.Visual—Does not detect the differences of object properties, positions, and sizes on the panel.
        • Panel.Visual.Properties—Does not detect the differences of object properties on the panel.
        • Panel.Visual.Position—Does not detect the differences of object positions on the panel.
        • Panel.Visual.Size—Does not detect the differences of object sizes on the panel.
    • Diagram—Does not detect all the differences on the diagram.
      • Diagram.Functional—Does not detect the added, deleted, and modified code on the diagram.
        • Diagram.Functional.AddedDeleted—Does not detect the added and deleted code on the diagram.
        • Diagram.Functional.Modified—Does not detect the modified code on the diagram.
      • Diagram.Visual—Does not detect the differences of node properties, positions, and sizes on the diagram.
        • Diagram.Visual.Properties—Does not detect the differences of node properties on the diagram.
        • Diagram.Visual.Position—Does not detect the differences of node positions on the diagram.
        • Panel.Visual.Size—Does not detect the differences of node or structure sizes on the diagram.
        • Panel.Visual.WireLayout—Does not detect the differences of wire layout on the diagram.
      • Diagram.Comments—Does not detect the differences of comments on the diagram.
    • IconConnectorPane—Does not detect all the differences on the icon and connector pane.
      • IconConnectorPane.Functional—Does not detect the differences of terminals on the connector pane.
        • IconConnectorPane.Functional.ConnectedDisconnected—Does not detect the differences of connected and disconnected terminals on the connector pane.
