Reads characterization data from the on-device EEPROM and returns headers and characterization data for the specified channel.

Input Parameters

  • Register Bus—The Register Bus object created by ni579x Open and used as the session handle for the NI-579x Configuration nodes.
  • scope—The channel to read characterization data for. Valid values are rx and tx.
  • start address—The start offset of the data in the EEPROM.
  • EEPROM Data Section—The EEPROM can contain characterization data measured and calculated by the manufacturer (Factory Data), as well as data measured and calculated by the user (User Data).

Output Parameters

  • Register Bus (out)—The Register Bus object created by ni579x Open and used as the session handle for the NI-579x Configuration nodes.
  • EEPROM Header—Header information for the entire EEPROM.
  • EEPROM Calibration Header—Header information describing the calibration sections.
  • Device Data Header—Header information describing the device characterization data sections.
  • Characterization Data—Characterization data for the specified channel.
