IviCounter Fetch (G Dataflow)

    Obtains a measurement based on the preset configuration and returns the measurement value.

    The measurement is from a measurement that was previously initiated.

    Use IviCounter Initiate to start the previously configured measurement. Use IviCounter Status to determine when the measurement is complete.

    You can call IviCounter Read instead of IviCounter Initiate. IviCounter Read starts a measurement. It then waits for the measurement to complete, obtains the measured value, and returns the measured value. You call this node separately for any other measurements that you want to obtain on a specific channel.

    Typically, you call this node only in a sequence of calls to other low-level driver nodes. The sequence performs one operation. You use the low-level nodes to optimize one or more aspects of interaction with the instrument. If you want to check the instrument status, call IviCounter Error-Query at the conclusion of the sequence.

    The instrument handle that you obtain from IviACPwr Initialize or IviACPwr Initialize With Options. The handle identifies a particular instrument session.

    Standard Error Behavior

    Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.
