Olson Instruments
Olson Instruments was one of the first manufacturing companies to introduce non-destructive testing instruments to the civil engineering industry and has been an established manufacturer of sensors and data collection systems since 1993. Since the equipment is first researched and developed from the experience of Olson Engineering, Inc. for consulting engineering projects, customers benefit in two ways:
- The instruments are field rugged and proven for each application
- Training and support are provided by engineers from a consulting engineering perspective.
The instruments have been designed and manufactured by the Olson Instruments staff of electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers. This allows them to provide excellent maintenance and support of their instruments and also to research and develop custom instruments.

Freedom DAS PC
The Freedom DAS PC, a new innovation in advanced data acquisition technology, is a robust, portable data collection system. It features a rugged shock mounted design, weather resistant construction, and a National Instruments 16 channel, 1.25 MS/s, 12-bit data acquisition card for general purpose data collection. The Freedom DAS PC is ideal for applications such as structural health monitoring, vibration measurements, and collection of data from a wide range of sensor types. Custom systems are also available.

The Freedom Data PC family of instruments includes nondestructive testing (NDT) systems for foundation, structural, pavement and geophysical engineering applications, as well as custom systems for research and development.. It features a rugged shock mounted design, weather resistant construction, and a National Instruments 16 channel, 1.25 MS/s, 12-bit data acquisition card. Custom systems are also available.
