Introduction

The NI InsightCM online monitoring demo shows an installation of a real-world online condition monitoring system. The demo shows asset health data from four pump/motor skids used to pump chilled water for an HVAC system at NI headquarters in Austin, Texas.

Access NI InsightCM Online Monitoring Demo

To access the demo, please click the button below, sign in with your NI account, and click the "Log in to NI InsightCM" button. Once you reach the NI InsightCM login screen, just click through (click "Go") and you will be able to access the demo as a guest.

Physical Installation

The online monitoring demo shows asset health data from four pump/motor skids used to pump chilled water for the HVAC system in the main building at NI global headquarters in Austin, Texas. NI monitoring devices, based on CompactRIO, are installed in the panel to monitor the assets.

NI InsightCM Data Warehouse

The NI InsightCM Data Warehouse hosts all the raw data generated by the NI InsightCM Online Monitoring Demo. After the data is received by NI InsightCM, it is exported as TDMS files which contain the raw waveforms and calculated features. These files are stored and publicly available in the Data Warehouse. For instructions on accessing the Data Warehouse, please see this white paper.
