Carla Piñeyro Sublett

Chief Marketing Officer

As chief marketing officer of National Instruments, Carla Piñeyro Sublett leads the global marketing organization. She is responsible for all aspects of the company’s marketing efforts including company brand, proactive demand generation, and customer engagement enhancement through partnering with sales and NI’s ecosystem. She is focused on promoting the strength of NI’s software-defined platform to cultivate growth across key markets.

 

Piñeyro Sublett has 20 years of experience leading global sales and marketing teams in the technology industry. Most recently, she served as the CMO at Rackspace, where she helped define the corporate strategy, pioneered a new visual identity, and doubled the company’s brand awareness. Prior to her role at Rackspace, she spent 15 years at Dell in a variety of executive leadership roles across sales, marketing, and operations. At Dell, her accomplishments ranged from opening new markets to transforming the inside sales function to leading brand campaigns in Mexico and Brazil while serving as the divisional CMO of Latin America.

 

Piñeyro Sublett is a demonstrated change leader and advocate who cares deeply about being part of a purpose-driven company and her community, where she is a champion for diversity and inclusion. She is a member of the 2016 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute, which recognizes successful leaders under the age of 45 ready to apply their creative talents to building a better society. She was named one of Inc. magazine’s “Women to Watch” in 2017 and recognized as one of the Top 50 Influential Hispanics in the United States by Hispanic Business magazine in 2014. She was also awarded The Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever award by the Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility.

 

Piñeyro Sublett is the president of the board of the Texas Conference for Women and incoming president of the Austin Community Foundation. She also served as board president of the Thinkery. In addition, she is a founder of Thrive, an organization that enables networking at work through exercise.

 

Piñeyro Sublett is a proud wife and mother. She took 2018, her year of Finding Ubuntu, to travel the globe extensively with her family.
