As vice president of the global energy segment at National Instruments, Owen Golden is responsible for developing the company’s investment strategy for energy products and services.
Previously, Golden held the position of vice president of sales for the Americas, where he was responsible for the sales of NI products and services throughout North, Central, and South America. During this time, he was responsible for the largest sales force expansion in NI history and achieved exceptional growth rates for the company.
For the past seven years, Golden has worked across the global sales and marketing management teams to ensure the organization continues to address customer needs as NI products become more critical to their businesses. With evolving business in a number of key areas including energy, military and aerospace, and complex control, Golden has worked to expand the company’s highly skilled sales force to better serve these developing areas of the business
Before joining NI, Golden was a software engineer for Carrier Corporation and held applications engineering and sales management positions with Keithley Instruments. Golden holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Buffalo.
