Employee Philanthropy and Volunteerism

National Instruments is committed to improving the communities in which its employees work and live. The company encourages employees to engage in community activities they care about and donate their time, talent, and resources to organizations dedicated to their passions. NI supports these efforts through its offices around the world with several ongoing initiatives to educate employees about community needs and volunteer opportunities. More than half of headquarters employees donated through the NI GIVES fall giving campaign 

NI corporate headquarters employees volunteered 11,617 hours with nonprofit organizations 

Reported employee membership on boards of nonprofit organizations increased by 63% 

Seven branch offices have established formal employee volunteer programs

The matching gifts program is not available for headquarters employees who use payroll deduction

Worldwide gift matching for employees is pending formal program development and implementation 

Branch offices do not have a system to promote and track volunteer activity
