NI Academic Site License for Students

Academic institutions can distribute NI student software to their students with the NI student install option. Students can access compatible NI software on their personal computers.

Licensing Options

The student licensing options allow academic institutions to resell and distribute software at a significant academic discount to the student. Select a licensing option that best suits your students' needs:

  • NI Student Install Option (includes LabVIEW Student and Multisim Educator Edition)
  • NI LabVIEW Student Install Option (includes LabVIEW Student Edition)]
  • NI Multisim Student Install Option (includes Multisim Educator Edition)

Eligibility and Requirements

  • Academic institution must have an active Academic Site License
  • Seats are not transferable among students
  • Software upgrades are available throughout student enrollment
  • License expires at the end of student enrollment in the academic institution
  • NI recommended: Manage licensing and distribution using the NI Volume License Manager (VLM)
