How to Become an NI LabVIEW Academy

Only academic institutions are eligible to become LabVIEW Academies. All instructors must be Certified LabVIEW Associate Developers (CLADs) and teach at participating academic institutions. Each LabVIEW Academy must purchase the LabVIEW Academy curriculum package.

LabVIEW Academy Course Delivery and Program Requirements

Instructors must adhere to the following requirements:

  1. Carry the CLAD designation
  2. Follow all LabVIEW Academy curriculum standards
  3. Purchase the LabVIEW Academy curriculum package
  4. Teach 30 hours of classroom instruction
  5. Distribute 20 hours of homework exercises
  6. Assign 20 hours of projects based on LabVIEW
  7. Have at least one dedicated classroom
  8. Require one PC per student
  9. Use DAQ hardware or the NI Educational Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Suite (NI ELVIS)
  10. Have a local server to download and deliver learning materials
